Who we are

April is passionate about all things healing. As a child she was very intuitive and adept at supporting others. Her interest and study in health and natural medicine began when she was very young and at age 19 she began to explore and study Massage, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Psychology. In 1997 she moved to California and attended The School of Intuitive Massage and Healing in Santa Barbara. As a licensed Massage Therapist she started a private bodywork practice and assisted the massage school. Once she began attending various spiritual and personal growth workshops she realized that her purpose was to guide and facilitate. In 2008 April and Brian created the company A Life Uncommon and began producing and leading workshops.

Brian has been involved in support and integrity work for over two decades, beginning with both working and supporting 12 step work in alcoholism and drug addiction recovery. He began participating in and supporting transformational workshops in 2001. In addition to roles of workshop support and facilitator he has been involved in many types of personal coaching and individual and relationship support work. He has attended multiple facilitator and workshop training courses. Brian is currently co-producing and facilitating transformational relationship workshops with April and their company A life Uncommon.
